Language Café

Do you have an ear for languages?
Or would you like practice it? Do you like to talk with strangers?

The Language Café takes place every second Saturday at 15:30-18:00 in the Main Hall on the 1th floor over the café in Studenterhuset and it is organized by dedicated volunteers.

Everyone how wants to learn or practice language can join.

Every time there will be a little theme prepared to break the ice (e.g. Food, Leisure activities), but you will be free to talk about anything you like! It’s a great way to share your own language and culture while making friends from all over the world.

It’s free and all you have to do is show up. No registration needed.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER LANGUAGE HOST
As a volunteer, you will host a table in your native language (or another language you’re fluent in), and people, who want to learn or practice the language, can come and have a conversation with you and the other participants. Teaching experience is not required- all you have to do is talk to people!

Each shift is 3 hours.  You are required to take minimum one shift per month.

Becoming a host means also becoming a part of Studenterhuset very social volunteer group, with people from more than 40 different countries.
