Documentaries Day – 3 Great Documentaries

Due to massive interest, the event has been moved to Sunday – 10th of March.
In order to provide the best experience for all guests, we will have TWO screenings at the same time – At the Bar area and the Mainhall.
After each screening, a panel of experts will present and further develop the topics at hand.  This will be followed by a discussion and a QnA session where audience members are encourage to participate in.

The Century of the Self is a 2002 British television documentary series by filmmaker Adam Curtis. It focuses on the work of psychoanalysts Sigmund Freud and Anna Freud, and PR consultant Edward Bernays. In episode one, Curtis says, “This series is about how those in power have used Freud’s theories to try and control the dangerous crowd in an age of mass democracy.”

Before the Flood is a 2016 documentary film about climate change directed by Fisher Stevens. The film was produced as a collaboration between Stevens and Leonardo DiCaprio It gives a new look at how climate change affects our environment and what society can do to prevent the demise of endangered species, ecosystems and native communities across the planet.
