COPENHAGEN SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE

Ideas for sustainable tourism
12th-13th March
2021

What is the Copenhagen Sustainability Challenge?

Copenhagen Sustainability Challenge is an opportunity for students across Universities to join forces and solve some of Copenhagen’s challenges towards a more sustainable city. You do not need any specific qualifications or have experience with innovation. We will guide your team through the process and provide the tools and knowledge you need along the way.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our way of living as well as our possibilities and choices as tourists.

In particular, the experience industry in Copenhagen has suffered due to decreased international tourism. It is problematic, but at the same time creates a unique opportunity to restart the experience economy in a more sustainable way.

We want to create opportunities for a new sustainable tourism in Copenhagen, that is considerate of the city, nature, inhabitants and climate – as well as of the economy, and we need your help to do so!

Be part of Copenhagen Sustainability Challenge and tackle this real-life issue with some of the major players within Copenhagen tourism.
