KulturNat 2017 – Hans Andrias + Thompson Springs
Experience a special night at Studenterhuset, when KuturNat 2017 (Culture Night) goes down in Copenhagen on October 13th.
Besides great live music in the café, you also get to see Studenterhuset behind the scene. On this night, you are invited to join our tours of the entire house.
What kind of business did the house hold after it was rebuilt after the huge fire in 1728? For how long has students been using the house for activities? And how does a Student House and Culture House really work behind the scene?
You will get all the answers and more on this night.
We are ready with tours from 18.00 and until 22.00. There will be a meeting point in our courtyard, and the English tours will be at 18.00, 19.00, 20.00 and 21.00. You don’t need to sign up – just show up.
Kl. 20.30: Thompson Springs (US)
Chicagoan Matt Smith formed Thompson Springs from a collection of backlogged songs about problems of the heart and near misses along the road. The songs are his personal version of reality and a vehicle for his ideas to become real.
Kl. 21.30: Hans Andrias
I 2016 Hans Andrias released his debut album ‘Vision’. In March 2017 he wins the Audience Awards at the FMA (Færøsk Music Awards) and in July the played at the !G Festival on the Faroe Islands.
You get to experience Hans Andrias and his great voice, acoustic guitar and harmonica here at Studenterhuset.
DJ Lars da Fari will keep the dance floor going for the rest of the night.
And true to the KulturNat-vibe Studenterhuset will be visible on Købmagergade too. You can buy beer, coffee/tea and hot cocoa in our bar outside.
Please note: You don’t need a KulturPas (official Culture Night Pass) to attend the activities here at Studenterhuset.
